Hey folks,
I’m finally in the process of upgrading the labels for Imanmade Natural Skin Care!! The print on my current labels had a tendency to wipe off off after a while. This was highly embarrassing for me at times, not to mention several lost opportunities, as some customers were not able to find out how to re-purchase. But the situation is now being sorted - the labels are being tweaked and printed professionally (yay!!!)
Just be patient a little bit longer and the revamp will happen over the next month or so. This is a big deal for me, and a step forward for Imanmade. I’m chuffed to bits :)
Thanks for still buying my goodies despite imperfect labels. I appreciate you all…
Big hugs,
Miss Iman xx

As some of you may know I trialled Dr. Bridgett’s Combined Approach to treat my youngest son’s eczema. A controversial move for a natural skin care producer, but one I had to make, and one I don’t regret. In the interview, I go into depth about my experience and success with TCA:

I am now 19 weeks pregnant, well into my second trimester and still waiting for that pregnancy glow that everyone is harping on about. Though my hair is coming along, my skin refuses to glow with out the aid of bronzer. The worst that has happened (bar the lack of taste buds, constipation & weird crazings) has been that my lips are the driest they have EVER been (they are like a barren desert!…..more

I’ve been reading a lot of the information on www.atopicskindisease.com, a website by Dr Christopher Bridgett of Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, who is a Psychiatrist that specialises in ‘behavioural interventions in dermatology (especially atopic eczema)’.
I’m about to start his ‘Combined Approach to Atopic Eczema’ programme with my toddler. It is a treatment programme that combines habit reversal (of habitual scratching) with conventional methods of eczema skin care, and has been adapted for younger children from the original adult version.
Although Dr Bridgett’s approach includes a period of intense topical steroid use , I will be complying with this, and will continue to use my natural skin care products as the emollients.
I am currently working on a post to explain Dr Bridgett’s Combined Approach further, and will be blogging about our ongoing progress once we begin.
That’s the feeling I get when someone tells me my Imanmade Natural Skin Care products have helped their skin….
Feels good!
